Prenatal Yoga

“There is a secret in our culture, and it’s not that birth is painful. It’s that women are strong.”


Our unique prenatal classes focus not only on relief from common pregnancy discomforts.  They also focus on a woman's preparation for birth through breathing techniques, practices in mindfulness, and challenging but safe holds.​  The classes take place in a group-sharing atmosphere to help women feel supported and connected to peers during pregnancy.​​  Classes are vinyasa-style (breath to movement), and all levels.  There is a little bit for everyone- those wishing to continue their yoga practice and those brand new!  

After birth, it is important to also honor the body, as pregnancy hormones can last up to a year postpartum!   We have offerings for you with or without baby to account for this transition time!
